Product Proposal
An exploration of two popular companies’ popular products: Tote bags and water bottles.
Inspiration from the fan favorites
I began this project at the source; looking through my local Trader Joe’s collection of bags. At their stores, they have bags that are available nation wide, and bags that are location-specific. By choosing to start with the nationally available bags, there would be the opportunity to sell these water bottles at every location.
The final product
By the end of this project, I created a collection of six potential water bottles. Three use the signature Trader Joe’s floral print featured on their paper bags and crewmate shirts, with three additional water bottles featuring designs from some of their bestselling tote bags their fruit and vegetables prints and breakfast illustrations. All of the final mockups were created using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
